2. The Chow has become known as a fashionable pet and guard dog, however it was used as a sporting dog in ancient China.

3. They housebreak easily, have little doggy odor, and are known to be as fastidious as cats. 

4. They also need regular grooming which means thorough brushing at least twice a week and a monthly bath.
