$10K Donation Made to the National Search Dog Foundation!
The last several months have seen some very difficult and devastating circumstances for people around the world. Hurricanes in Florida, Puerto Rico, and Caribbean Islands, wildfires in California, and an earthquake in Mexico. And in the middle of all this, we stopped to remember and honor the victims of September 11th.
To help, we ran two campaigns, all benefiting the National Search Dog Foundation (SDF), which trains dogs to respond to and rescue people in disaster zones:
The "I Dig Furst Responders" campaign in honor of 9/11: $3.00 from every Furst Responders item donated to SDF.Paws to Help campaign (including Paws for California, Paws for Florida, Paws for Puerto Rico, Paws for the Caribbean Islands and Paws for Mexico): ALL PROFITS from the sales of all "Paws to Help" items donated to SDF.
The sales from both campaigns have been tallied and we're thrilled to announce that we've donated $10,000 to SDF.
More about the SDF:
The National Search Dog Foundation (SDF), is an extraordinary not-for-profit that has rescued dogs and connected them with first responders since 1996. Every dog in their program receives lifetime care and ongoing training so they can help save lives following disasters that occur nationwide and beyond. Following Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria and the earthquake in Mexico City, the SDF deployed Paws on the Ground teams to help. While we don’t know when and where people and pets will be in need next, we’re grateful that SDF will be there. Thank you for your support and generosity.
