Sizing is off

While the quality of the shirts are great, the sizing is ridiculous. I have 3 xl teddy the dog t-shirts hanging in my closet and they fit perfectly. I ordered 3 xl long sleeves and they are so long that I could wear them as a night shirt. I tried to shrink them by washing them so now I am out of the money and tshirts that I can wear. I am 5’ tall and these seem to be made for 6’ women.
