Catahoula Rescue of New England: Houlas & Heelers is dedicated to working with shelters and dog owners throughout New England and the East Coast to support both Catahoula Leopard Dogs and Australian Cattle Dogs. The rescue assists not only purebred dogs but also mixes in order to promote breed awareness. The organization works to address behavioral problems and challenges, encourages responsible guardianship through humane education, and, when necessary, facilitates placement in permanent, loving homes.
