We all know that pets (dogs especially, in my opinion) have healing powers, and it can be incredibly meaningful for a person with cancer to be able to keep their pet at home with them while they undergo treatment. In fact, so many patients who use the PAW Program say their pet gives them “unconditional love”!
The PAW program helps pay for the costs of pet care, which can be incredibly difficult to afford for people with cancer.
